All my guinea pigs stood reverently and listened when this album was played. The high, soft, chiming sounds are like the guinea pig vocalizations. If your guinea pig likes this album, it will be something pleasant for him to associate with you. Also some guinea pigs like to have a warm bath in the sink, (just slightly warmer than human body temperature), in very shallow water, about chest high for them at the deepest. It is interesting for them, and it makes them feel nice, just like it does for us. However, do not use shampoo unless his bottom is dirty or greasy. Guinea pigs have a grease gland in that area that can get plugged up or irritated. In that case use mild pet shampoo. A nice bath is also a good thing to try if your guinea pig is constipated or has an impaction you can see. In that case soak him for a while, and it will soften the poo. The relief of having a much needed bath is a very positive experience, and he will be grateful for it.
