However, from experience – when piercing, most people seem unbothered by tongue piercings. When done correctly, it slides through like butter, it’s just a tad messy because people often drool everywhere (a good piercer will give you something to catch it with/clean your face with afterwards). Nipple piercings are here and there – some people would react with an ‘oh is that it?’ and others would scream and curse me out. VERY variable in terms of pain. The biggest difference is the after pain/healing process. Most people find tongue healing to be a pain in the ass, and you need to be careful to not tear it when attempting to eat. Nipples, usually isn’t quite as bad as long as you avoid catching it on anything, but when you first have them done, they can feel quite warm for a while after and god forbid a cold breeze swings past you because that can feel a little spicy. I’m not sure if this is what you’re asking, but tattoos directly on the areolae or nipples are very very rare, and if you really wanted them, the artist would have to work around the piercings, but it should still work. That is up to your personal preference, I don’t think “trashy” has a universal definition. However, piercings done by professionals are clean and safe, so if you think your piercings may be “trashy” because they’re unclean, get them professionally done. If you think professionally done, well-healed piercings still look trashy, then that’s your personal opinion and you’re allowed to have that. Try not to be rude and tell people that their piercings look trashy though. In general, that’s not very nice.
